@Meits: Not all that long ago BiFi released an upgrade to the basic moonblaster replayer. It allows to load 8 different sample kits in the Music Module and use them. So that is another example of a program that supports 256k.
But I agree with you: a hack for Moonblaster 1.4 would be great.
Now that you say it, I remember the eight samplekits addition.
Operation Wolf Enhanced (Game DISC via GOTEK FDD) working great on NMS-8280(1024KB) --> VIDEO
Operation Wolf Enhanced (Game DISC via GOTEK FDD) working great on NMS-8280(1024KB) but Playing with the 7mhz Turbo Switch --> VIDEO
Note about NMS8280 Turbo Switch: "as you see the GR8NET (Y8950 ADPCM ENGINE) keeps in SYNC all the time but not AUDIOWAVE. Well at least the whole system doesn't get broken/freeze" also I forgot to apply GR8NET/PSG cloning for better results.
@TheKid: Here one more game (BOSCONIAN FM MOD by Tiny Yarou) but not 256KB ADPCM SAMPLE RAM is Required yet because I'm planning to improve the quality of it in a future release also other ADPCM SAMPLE ENGINE will be required for extra SFX and Voices.
Hello,
I am also looking for a cartridge that can improve the sound of games in my MSX2 Philips NMS8280. I know that Carnivore2 has implemented the FM-PACK internally, but I don't know how it works and if it can be enough. Which one do you recommend?
Hi andallaco, please don’t cross-post the same question into multiple threads, your earlier post is sufficient already. Especially since this thread is about a different sound module (not used in many games), so it’s off-topic here.
Ok, sorry.
