No, it is not a screenshot... but it is definitely not about running browser on MSX either. Smile

Actually this picture is from a remote desktop session that I took while I was doing some experimenting with GR8NET. Smile

Wow cool! Which screen did you use?This is a funny idea tbh! Something nice maybe for SymbOS, but I assume it is compressed data so bit to slow to decrypt?

This is SCREEN 8... Fortunately in RFB protocol server does not enable compression unless you ask it to... and you can also also ask it to send the data ready formatted to native SCREEN 8 format, so that you can just dump it to VRAM. In this sense the server is very helpful, if you just describe what you want. Even when compressions are used, they are done in a way that you can offload stuff from CPU to MSX VDP. How ever these experiments I made with MSX-BASIC, so the end result was dead slow because of that.

For what it's worth, I'm seeing this Wiki slowness from time to time over the last few days, usually in the evening Japan time. Incuding just now.
