The memory mapper was optional on MSX2 computers so manufacturers could put one or not when there was only 64kB.

Yeah it’s optional that’s for sure. But it seems all machines from Japan that did not have the possibility to extend beyond 64kB did not have a mapper. That seems more than just a coincidence.

Added a few pics to SVI-727 page. Still need to align them better. Will try and test the device and add some more info on it in the next few weeks.

Alignment fixed. I've also replaced this one:

I made and added Konami EC700 manuals here.

I personally doubt if Takeru overwrote a rom game to its previously vended cartridge. Since Takeru always dispensed a new empty cartridge it's unnatural for a customer to dispose/keep it (unless it was compatible with Romio writer), insert a purchased cartridge and erase the existing game he paid for. The photo of a cartridge with Kung Fu erased and Takeru Legend written underneath is more likely a result of initially mistaking the title to be Protector which looks similar to Takeru Legend.

By the way, what is considered a good resolution for images? The photos I took were 4624x3468 and about 5MB each. I have scaled them down to 1600x1200 to reduce file size, but of course I can choose any resolution if needed.

The resolution you have choosen seems me good for this kind of picture, but I don't think it applies to all cases in the Wiki.

I make for example a difference between pictures inside a gallery of pictures and a picture used as general presentation of a magazine. Also screenshots from running software need to stay in a realistic format, imho.

Other example: Some technical pictures (PCB for example) could require higher resolutions in some cases, when you want to see much better the little details.

Created a first draft for a page about the Hitachi 6845. Will add more info over time. Will also add info to the SVI-727 page about how it uses the 6845 (like register values).

Probably the Toshiba HX-VT10A cartridge has also this chip.
