Hi all,

I was browsing a site containing arcade flyers and I stumbled upon a poster of Konami MSX games. On this posters you can see screenshots of two Konami MSX games that I have never seen before. Even their RC numbers are mentioned:

- RC708 Action Boat
- RC709 Spelling Bee

Does anybody know if these games actually were released?

Spelling bee is a mix of Monkey Academy and Athletic Land, hehe Smile.

By the way, have you seen in that flyer/ad "Jolly Hopper" as RC715? Finally RC715 was Hyper Sports 1...

Btw, what is that "I LOVE kanji kanji" that Konami has on some of its old carts? It's also on this poster.

Spelling bee was planned to be quite expensive; more than twice as expensive as those other games (9800 yen vs. 4800 yen).

Could it be that these games support the Kanji-ROM? So when inserted in a Japanese MSX there are Japanese logo's and in non-Japanese MSX-es English logo's and texts?

(o O!) Woooa! Impressive!
By the way, I though the game with the Athletic Land boy was called "Spelling Tree"

The ‘I LOVE’ text has different kanji everytime. I can discern the first of the two kanji below Athletic Land, but the second... I think I can see it, but I can’t find it in my dictionary, so I guess I’m seeing wrong, and I know far from enough kanji to be able to recognise it.

I LOVE 体...

体 is body or form. Maybe the second kanji is ‘exercise’?
