: we all know the game ( ZANAC EX ) and some of us considere it one of the best MSX games ever but that makes me wana ask you : 1. who among you made the best score in this game with out any attempt to save it? 2. how many tims did you finish the game ? 3.what is your best time record in this game ? the one with the best numbers shall be the king of this game and he/she will be added to the list of (BEST MSX GAME PLAYERS) that you will find it in the "articles" section . and every week there will be a new game and a new king so post your best numbers here and lets see how is -THE KING OF ZANAC EX- good luck
the MSX games championship (ZANAC EX)
for me : the first Q is 173522 and the 2nd Q is 13 times and the 3rd one is 3 hours & 36 sec 
Ooof.. I don't remember, actually.
The first Zanac, the original one, when I was in primary school, I actually skipped a night before going to school, was awake the whole night to finish it because I was 'in the zone'! 
Actually, from once and around Area 8, I think Zanac-Ex becomes pretty hard and I do not even remember if I could beat the game without having to use continues.. shame on me.. 
Keep in mind that we can easily fake (high-)scores in this age of emulators, MS Paint and...

And to answer your question - I must have played Zanac-Ex from top to bottom, without cheating ofcourse, at least 5 times.
Its direct follow-up, Aleste, I have finished at least 20 times in my life, without using the contine option.
Actually, I did it last week, since I own the original cartridge anyway, so why not play it.
Ofcourse Aleste is like 10 times easier than Zanac-Ex.

only aleste 2 is relatively more difficult.
i know that any body can fake his high score but i know u wont 
and i did it for fun not just to see who is the best. u understand me right and instead of cheating why dont he(the cheater) try to play the game? he has a week to do so......oh and demon tell me what is ur favourat wepon in this game mine is No.5 max power
Do you really think Zanac-Ex is easier than Aleste?
I think it's one of the more hard ones, actually.

Don't forget the 3rd game in the "Final Justice" series (the 2nd is "Guardic" ), that's "Blaster Burn", one of the monthly games which came into the DiscStation Magazine. It's pretty curious... it would be cool if somebody could join all the parts to make an standalone version
Well then I'd say Aleste is by far the most easy one.
Aleste Gaiden is ridiculously easy, too (and short), but that was just a 'bonus' game anyway.
"Aleste Gaiden" must be one of the games I've finished the most... it's always nice to watch it all again
Aleste 2 has three difficulty modes; you can modify it when you boot disk B or C with the [SELECT] key held down.
I've only finished it with the standard difficulty mode.
I've never finished "Exa Innova", "Final Justice" neither "Guardic"... and about "Zanac", there's a special version pretty much harder than the normal one.
