Hi,

What's the easiest program to convert screen 8 files (from Videographics, I think, digitized pictures at least) to a PC usable format? It's for a Windows environment.

Not a Windows app, but my old DOS CNVS program can do that in a Windows dos box. And it also runs on Linux in the dos emu environment Smile

It's not for myself, but for a mega-noob. So CNVS is a bit unuserfriendly and I'm not sure how current PCX is.

Can someone check if Wolf's thing works fine (for noobs!)? Smile I'll pass him that URL then Smile

Btw: thanks for your trouble, Wolf!

It has 3 buttons, .. it's simple Smile

[load sc8]
[save bmp]
[x] to get rid of an image, which brings back the fuzzylogic'esque dots (how retro can things be? Smile )
