the golf pack in video

Hi there,

Does anyone know how to start the game "the golf" from pack in video. When I start the game (on openmsx) after a introscreen the screen turns green and a japanese message is shown. I tried every button on the keyboard, but I can't get past this message. At first I thought it was asking for a second disk, but according to generation-msx its a one disk game.

Course disk, maybe.

The green screen says "Put the course disk in drive A" or something.

Okay, funny, so this game actually is 2 disks and not 1. On nitro roms, the golf disk 2 is actually disk 1 and the golf disk 3 is in fact the coarse disk and now it works. Thanks everyone.

I'm playing this again.

And I'm wondering if the manual has a table of clubs and distances? Would be useful.

Also, I notice the review I linked in my previous post has this listed as a ROM cartridge game, but I've never seen one for sale.

Also the hook/slice in this game is opposite to how it is in real life (and most other video games)

Yes, I'm still wondering if there ever really was a ROM release of this game.

(According to Generation MSX there wasn't:

This game was delayed numerous times. It was supposed to come out on ROM, and was advertised as such in late 1988. They then switched to a disk version and kept the same price and product code. There is no proof that a ROM version was ever released.
