Yes, shipping can be interesting in the USA, especially to other countries. It all depends on how you ship it, what options are chosen, etcetera. There are even more expensive options. When chosen wisely, I tend to pay about 16 dollars for International shipping.

Just so you know, for Europe, there is also a first class mail option, that is $12.33, or about 11 euro.
