[WTB] Snake It

Unfortunately, I did not win. It appears that game is pretty desirable. Over 5k yen and still got outbid.

Ah, I see. Well, if you're looking for the cartridge version complete, I would suggest buying the overpriced one, or just becoming comfortable with not owning it and moving on. It wouldn't surprise me if you didn't see another copy come up for years, and when it does, there's no indication that the price will be cheaper.

If you're not looking for the most popular titles, MSX collecting is rough these days. Even some of the most common MSX2 games run $300 or so. With rare games... keep a narrow scope of what you want, and bring lube.

The good news is that every time the listing doesn't sell, the seller is reducing the price, but only by 2000 yen. Now it's at 42,000 and it started at 50,000. So you can try to wait him out, but you're rolling the dice that somebody else doesn't bite first.

Waiting for a deal on this, IMO, would be a waste of time and brainpower. It seems unlikely to me. Big deals like that don't often come up on YAJ, just a little fluctuation on the price here or there. The best way to find deals on Japanese MSX games is when they were imported and they go up for sale on western sites where people only look for Konami games. But this one had a western release on floppy so it would be very unlikely to have been imported.
