I have come across a VG8235 in quite decent state. Floppy drive does not work so it will need a new belt or replacement drive (or use a MFR SCC+ SD or Carnivore2). The body is in good state (some scratches on the top) and no discoloration of the keyboard. The space bar needs new springs (but it works).

System boots to basic, plays cartridge games and I’ve played some games with Carnivore2.

Target price is €100.

Replacing disk-drive (with a 720kB unit and correct Disk-ROM) and fixing the spacebar will be an extra €50 (will not be done by myself but by Bas) if someone prefers this to be fixed and can’t do it themselves.

And it comes with original manuals and disks for the system, MSX-DOS, MSX Home Office and MSX Designer and a very special MSX-DOS license agreement Wink






Disk are working, tried on FS-A1ST and as DSK image on the VG-8235 through MFR SCC+ SD, Home Office and Designer work only if there is only 1 disk drive (boot with shift and control pressed with Nextor emufile). I will supply the .DSK files if you purchase without the repairs.

You quoted me €40 incl. spacebar fix. I then have to ship it to you and you back to me. Then we are at €54.... so €50 is not too bad, not trying too make money off of your services. Just giving people an option.
