openmsx for ps2 linux.. will it runs? sorry i have no linux skills
Does SDL exists for PS2/Linux ? If so then we are still looking for someone who wants to donate a PS2 with the Linux pack so that we can start porting
Or someone with that equipment and an IRC connection who would be willing to spend some time on it would also be nice ofcourse.
elements: Just take the Compile Guide and try to compile openMSX on PS2 Linux, maybe it will work without changes. I cannot think of any reason it would not work. Of course theory and practice are not always the same, but it's worth trying.
The programmers among the openMSX team all live in Belgium and the Netherlands. Are you coming to Bussum? If we would have the PS2 Linux machine there and an internet connection, we could probably get it running.
About the USB Game Reader: so far MSX Association refuses to provide a specification of the protocol used to control this device. Since there is a lot of other work to be done on openMSX (and other projects such as C-BIOS), I don't want to waste my time by reverse engineering the Game Reader protocol.
I tried running the idea of an emulator on my PSP!
For the life of me, I can't get it to work,
If someone can help with that as well,
That would be great!
I mean I understand the process,
I read all the sites and reviews and stuff,
But the biggest question I have is HOW DO YOU PUT THE FILES ON THE MEMORY CARD CORRECTLEY??????????????????????
