I finished it at the end of the 80's, or maybe even 1990, without any map nor any clue from any internet. It took me easily one year (I didn't play all day, of course), and about 2-3 months to look around the huge castle in order to find that damn cross... Until one saturday, by chance, when falling through a pit, I fired the sword and heard a noise in a wall...
It's one of my top MSX-1 games, definitely, together with Salamander; they may easily share my particular top 1 position.
