Gremlin Graphics´

Avenger
Bounder
Future Knight
Jack The Nipper 2
Krakout!

Avenger could look very good if hero and baddies get 1-2 sprites to colour them up! But of course one can add more colour to background too!

As being vertical scroller, Bounder could have more colour...

Future Knight and Nipper 2 are both flick screen games, so it shouldn´t be too hard job to make them look really good!

Martech´s

Eddie Kidd Jump Challenge
Brian Jack´s Superstar Challenge

why the hell there must be that idiotic bmx biking in Eddie´s game? But anyway... both can be made really colourful! I miss a lot bike animation from commodore 64 eddie kidd...

Software Projects´

Manic Miner
Jet Set Willy

I know, these two lose a lot from their oldies feeling if done properly for msx...

Grandslam´s

Chubby Gristle
Pac-land
Terramex
Flintstones
Thunderbirds

Except Pac-Land, these are single/flick screen games (except driving section of Flintstones?), lazy programmers/company...

Actually, CAVERNS OF TITAN is an example of what MANIC MINER could have been for MSX.

And I agree: imagine TERRAMEX with hardware sprite and colourfull background. By the way, wasn't Ricardo Bittencourt coding an MSX2 version?

Oh. And I'd like suggest another question for you: MSX games that could have been better if ported directly from Spectrum instead of being specially coded for MSX. Of course, the direct answer is GREEN BERET. The ZX version is far better than the MSX one.

@MäSäXi: pac-land is extremely bad programmed, also for a zx spectrum game...

Uhm, not so sure.
I only see bigger colour-clashed sw sprites....

(And smoother scrolling)

Can someone explain to me how I get SWIV (MSX) running?
