Hello everyone!!

I have tried to find pictures of the Sony HBS-G012C (Hyper Sport 1) and HBS-G013C (Hyper Sport 2) cartridges on internet.I have only found images of the Konami versions RC716 and RC717. Do they really exist?. Perhaps they were never be released under Sony's format.

Maybe they were released under same Konami's format with a little Sony product code label on it?. I think that is the most probable hypothesis. But what surprises me is that Sony used the HBJ code for the games that it released under Konami's format with only a Sony product code label on it. And the HBS code only for games released under his own format. Does anyone know the answer?.

Thanks.

Both were probably never released by Sony.

I've been trying to find pictures of them for a long time and I've never found anything, too.

My guess is the same as you, they could have been released (if ever) under Konami's format with a little sticker on the back side, and it may have been easy to skip them.

On second thought, I agree with gdx and think that it is most likely that both were never released by Sony. Why?. Because I suppose that if they had been released under Konami's format with a little sticker with Sony product code, they would have been assigned an HBJ code like the rest and not HBS code which was only used to release Sony's format cartridges. It shouldn't surprise us. Announcing a game release, assigning a code to it, and never release it was a fairly common practice in those days.
