Procedure to write YRW801-M Rom of the moonsound on 27C160 chip

Does any one has the procedure to do that? I have built a Wozblaster and I need the procedure to write the complete file that is about 2MB in size into 27C160 chip. I have the complete file, I found other procedures where you write the files in parts but the file I have is a complete 2MB.

I have my way of dividing the complete 2MB moonsound file into 4 X 512KB parts and then upload part by part into the 4 banks of the 27C160. I will give that a try and see how things go.

that should work. it is the same as you would do with use of an adapter

I have the boards and all parts for this adapter except for the ZIF socket. These are leftovers from building an adapter for my own needs. Please contact me if interested. The socket is expensive, so I ordered only one piece from Poland.

I also have those 2mb EPROM chips - leftovers from the time when I assembled a Wozblaster.

Thanx a lot., I got one but it was not good to be used with my TL866 programmer, I had to return it and ordered another one similar to the you posted. I should check next time in the forum because I may save some money that way :)

When you set A18/A19 = 1/1 .. is that for bank 1 or 4 for 27C160? I am confused because of the pictures I see online for the is adapter.

I haven't used this adspter yet, so I can't confirm. The readme file should have enough info.
