As you can read here on our forum, MSX user fms is working hard to improve his fMSX emulator for the Android operating system that is present on a lot of modern smartphones and tablet pc's. Recently, fms released a new version of his emulator with the following new features and improvements:
- Added ability to open files with fms's other emulators (i.e. VGBA, iNES, etc).
- Added support for ZIP files.
- Made corner buttons thinner to avoid overlaps.
- Added configurable fast-forward button.
- Made screenshot sizes uniform.
- Added configurable custom key mappings.
- Added optional haptic feedback.
- Restored MENU button on Android Honeycomb.
- Finger joystick now shows up on tablets in portrait orientation.
There are two versions of the emulator available: A free version that features ads and an ad-free version that can be purchased for a mere € 3,99.
