Earlier we reported about Astrododge, the new dodge game made by Revival Studios. Astrododge will be for sale on the Nijmegen 2013 fair, but can also be ordered through their website as of now. The game (preview) comes on a cartridge and includes the game manual, box and insert. It can be bought for € 29,-, shipping costs another € 5,-.

To celebrate the release of the game on cartridge, Revival Studios organizes an Astrododge highscore competition on the 2013 Nijmegen fair. During the event, people can play the game all day on their own system (if they own a copy) or on one of the dedicated MSX systems and submit their score at the Revival Studios booth (and to the internet using the highscore code). If there is enough interest, there will also be a versus-mode competition where people can go head-to-head with the game. The winner of the competition will receive € 25,- (or a konami book).

Very good job! Simple but goodlooking game. Cool graphics and very addictive gameplay. Also good and beautiful artwork and strong packaging. Nice extra 2 player option. Indeed a top MSX job of Revival Studios. So I would say; Buy it and play it!

Too bad I wasn't able to set the highscore yesterday on the fair. Especially because the first time I played it at home I made a (best) score of 1907! It is submitted on the internet, so the competition goes on... Wink
