MRC user MarMSX updated a project dedicated to create screen 2 displays, which are images on screen self loading programs. Ten new display-animations were added to the project.

The Brazilian MSX1 graphic editor called Graphos III is able to create screen 2 images with some loading animations. In fact, such animation is performed by a program which included the image data plus a code for generating the animation. Graphos III can save an ordinary picture adding four types of animations, namely; none, horizontal stripes, left-right and random pixelation. The Screen 2 Show project aims at creating intro animations for MSX screen 2 pictures following the Graphos III concept. This project is now integrated to MSX Viewer 5, taking the advantages of this nice image converting tool.

MSX Viewer 5 is a tool for converting PC images to MSX which now incorporates these displays codes for screen 2.

The Screen 2 Show project involves both MSX and PC computers. At the MSX side, aims at developing display algorithms in Assembly. At the PC side, aims at developing tools to help on adding the display code to images converted to MSX. It is capable of adding the following animation patterns: direct (no animation), top-down, left-right, diagonal, snail in, and frame in.

I would like an MSX-DOS command to display the images of a folder in the same way, one after the other or at random.
