The MSXRio user group invites everyone to visit the 2010 edition of MSXRio, the meeting for MSX fans in or around Rio de Janeiro (Brazil). It's been organized since 1997 already, making it one of the more successful MSX meetings world wide, so write down October 9th into your agendas! Location will be the SESC Engenho de Dentro: Avenida Amaro Cavalcanti, 1661 - Engenho de Dentro, near the train station and the João Havelange Olympic Stadium, the "Engenhão". The place is open from 10:00-18:00.

Despite some nasty personal problems, needless to say I was there. The funniest part was an improvised Penginkun wars tournament with eight people, including a 17 years-old boy that was quite excited about the matches. After the tournament, I told him:

"You're seventeen and have already seen games much more advanced than this. Now try to imagine if you were 10 years-old and this was the most advanced game available". Wink
