On December 16th we started the MRC MuSiXmas Challenge. The objective? To create a christmas tune on MSX withih 10 days. The prize? A cool MSX button for every contestant and an ASCII MSX Magazine 1 (including MSXPLAYer) for the winner. As with our previous challenges we've found someone outside the MRC team willing to be the main juror of the challenge. The entries to the MRC MuSiXmas challenge will be rated by Hally of Vorc.org.

Vorc.org (which stands for Video Game Music or Chiptune News) is a large Japanese website focusing on retro computer music, available in both English and Japanese. Hally is the main content manager of this website and also takes the time to translate the newspostsfrom Japanese to English. Thanks to the Japanese roots, Vorc is one of the only retro computing music portals that regularly reports on the activities of MSX composers all around the world.

If you want to compete in the MuSiXmas challenge, read the details over here. Make sure you send your entries to musix@msx.org before December 26th, 23:59 CET!
