Hideo Kojima has joined forces with writer Suda51, in order to create a radio drama inspired on Konami's classic cyberpunk adventure Snatcher, named "Sdatcher" as a pun on Suda51's handle. Video game composer Akira Yamaoka is responsible for the music. Sdatcher will be released as part of the 300th broadcast of Hideradio, Kojima's personal radio show.

Ok, it is a start. FINALLY Kojima does something NOT Metal-Gear related. I would really like to see the Snatcher saga enter the PS3/X360 era. Perhaps we should start a massive (re)tweet campaign to get some attention from Hideo?

I asked Kojima via Twitter to implement Act 3 on the MSX version of Snatcher... strangely enough, I never got a reply... Tongue

@Konamiman, we can convert the images from PC98 to screen7 and make by ourselves the Act-3, is an adventure, maybe not to hard to code.

I can't help but preferring Snatcher's actual ending over that of SD Snatcher.

the PC98 version doesn't have Act-3, or does it?
I thought the "beta" Act 3 was in SD Snatcher, and the final version in the PC Engine and Megadrive versions

Well, there are quite some differences between the stories of Snatcher and SD Snatcher, but Act 3 in particular takes the cake in going a totally different direction.
Maybe I shouldn't be more specific; I might spoil it for people who haven't played it yet. Wink
BTW the Sega CD version of Snatcher is the best IMHO.
