A month ago A&L Software released version 0.3 of the English and Portuguese translation of Illusion City. As of today a new version, the MSX Jaú Edition, is available. Changes in version 0.4:

  • Fixed many translation errors/typos
  • First 5 disks are fully translated

I think that we can just thank it enough for this excellent work. Illusion City claims to be one of the best MSX RPG, and now, we will be able to play it Smile

Don't mean to push you guys, but when will the other disks be translated? Tongue (Just kidding of course Wink)

Great work guys!
I have the original over here standing in a cupboard catching dust, simply because I didn't understand the game.
Now I'm finally able to actually play the game instead of simply selecting menu options at random in the hoop something interesting would happen.
I can't wait until all disk are finally translated!

I recently acquired Illusion City. I'm sure that its price will rice a lot after the English translation. I believe that the same occured with SD Snatcher and Metal Gear 2 in the past.
