Topic: Websites

Rieks Warendorp Torringa, one of the members behind the dutch MSX Group Sargon has been working on a new website for a couple of months. Now, his first efforts can be watched online. The part website is about Sargon, MSX, Defender (the Sargon diskmagazine), game translations and various other things.

The good news is that Sargon is still active, although no products were released for the past five years. However, Sargon will have a stand again at the fair in Tilburg with two new game translations, namely Hydlide 2 - Shrine of Darknessand Randar 1. Another game translation, Rune Worth, is in preparation. More information and screenshots are available on the website.

In the future, an online version of the Defender might be added to the website, containing MSX news, reviews, columns, critiques and the like. Everything is, by the way, written in English.

The Sargon/MSX homepage is just a part of Rieks' personal website 'Samanet', which is to contain information about Japan, Japanese, research and the like as well. There's also a personal part which is still to be developed, containing everything that didn't fit in the other two parts.
