MGINST (v2.15) allows you to create a virtual disk with a MegaSRAM (ESE-RAM) or install the kernel of a MEGA-SCSI or MEGA-SCSI SCC.

You must first save your Disk-ROM to a file with KSAVER.COM to perform the installation.

The documentation is in French, English and Japanese.

Bigger Memory Mapper Selector

van gdx op 11-01-2019, 12:36

BMMS is a program that selects the largest RAM expansion with Memory Mapper as Main-RAM.

So BMMS is more efficient than the usual "universal POKE"*. It allows to run software that do not take account secondary slots or using without asking question the Memory Mapper in main RAM.

BMMS sets the segments in order 3, 2, 1, 0 for MSX1s.

CHKMEM 1.1

van MSX Resource Center op 17-12-2011, 10:59

This utility searches every slot of the MSX for available RAM, supporting both memory mappers and MegaRAM. The program tells in which (sub)slot these mappers are and how many pages of memory are available.

Utility that I wrote for verifying command.com version. It can recognize command.com 1.01, 1.07, 1.11 Hal-F and 1.11 Tim Paterson. See MSX-DOS 1 Wiki page for details. To be used from MSX-DOS. It reads command.com from the current drive.
