Hi to everybody,
I am a 8bit nostalgic Wink but SEGA SC-3000 user. I loved MSX also but never had one in my hand Sad
Some time ago I've written a SEGA SG-1000 / SC-3000 Action Script 3 Emulator:

and then I've developed the ColecoVision version too:

After some studies i could learn how great is MSX too. So now there is a MSX version too :) I'm having so much fun in coding all these things in AS3 :)

Concerning MSX version of this AS3 emulator, the PSG AY-3-8910 has to be heavily fixed and improoved, I have problems with envelope generator... There's also to improve the quality of master audio stream ( Flash player is not really oriented to this kind of things )
Some bug fix still to do in TMS9928...

Of course the Memory mapper doesn't support Secondary slots yet.

Here there are some games to play, there are much more working, but I wil update the list soon...

Here it complains that I don't have the latest flash... but I do have flash 10 installed! If I click on the 'bypass detection' I get a 404 page Sad

Edit: nevermind, I updated flash to the 'latest' and now it works. Plays really fast!

Thank you guys for your appreciation!
I'm new to MSX, but giong on in reading docs i'm discovering that it's really a great system!
Actually I''m working on the Secondary slot handler. I'm new to this concept because SEGA SC-3000 handles memory in simplier way ( except in addition to SF-7000 ).
I really hope to implement soon the use of more than 64Kb titles.
It's compiled with FLEX4 sdk for Flash player 10.1, and developed in Flash develop IDE.
I really hope that new releases of Flash player will improve the Audio class for the real time audio synthesis.

Hi to everybody!
Just a quick update for the AS3 MSX emulator!!
I've implemented a ROM Mapper for Konami + SCC

Still to implement an Audio MIXER... I couldn't believe when I learnt that on the slot bus there's also the audio signal!!! Big smile
I've just ipemented the basic SCC Sound Chip on konami cartridges... check it out! King's Valley sounds similar to common emulated audio, ( unfortunately I can't check on a real machine ) Does anybody of you has the possibility to test with a real MSX and that title ?

great work
i tried parodius, i think that the main difference is the speed of the emulation that on music is particolarly noticeable

Yep, you've done an excellent work!. The SCC sound is quite good with the obvious crackle and pops and some lagging; but very faithful all in all.
