As you might have seen, I just did an update of MRC (nope, it's not a joke). Changes in this release:

You can now use bbcode in stead of HTML
Removed WYSIWYG editor in favor of a simpler one that should give people less problems
Added preview option for comments (just click the magnifying glass icon)
Corrected all user points and implemented a better way to make sure they keep working

As for the people who are wondering how the user points are calculated: each newspost you submit is awarded 2 points, and other activities (placing a comment, starting a forum topic, adding a download, etc.) gets 1 point.

Good to read that, especially since you (commodorejohn) were one of the more vocal people to complain about it.
If there's other nagging issues, you know where to report them

Well, there's the whole issue of it still being messier and more complicated and never having needed a change in the first place, could you sort that one out?

Don't misunderstand: this is still not a good design. It's just a less terrible one now.

@commodorejohn - we will keep gradually improving the website, but the general layout is here to stay for quite a while. We like it - and the majority of our visitors do so as well.

Just wanted to point out this is not a fact, merely an opinion

On a more constructive note, what would another big annoyance be? The layout will not see any big changes for now, but other annoyances I might be able to do something about.
