That's SD cart related. Try another one.
EDIT: Ran the program and it reported that there was a "Disk I/O error in 30". I typed in line 30 exactly as shown so I'm not sure what's going on.
Did you updated the kernel? I tested it on a FS-A1 and it worked fine.

Yes, the kernel is the current version. And as I said, I reinstalled the kernel several times and nothing changed.

Did you installed it yesterday/today?
What version do you see on screen?
MegaFlashROM SCC+ SD driver
Version x.y
BTW, that will not fix your problem with the number of files. The new kernel just adds some waits to be compatible with FS-A1/FS-A1F models.
Then the BASIC program should write 112 files to your card as expected.
Hi Guillian,
I ran into something remarkable today. As I failed in configuring my MM to work with FD* files you sent me your MM. While having a ROMdisk it was impossible to copy anything to another place in MM. Therefore I went to the DOS prompt for that. Though, now I wiped the ROMdisk I can copy freely.
This read only of the ROMdisk seems to affect some stuff, since the B: drive I wanted to copy to isn't ream only at all.
Can you copy to a writable drive in MM while having a ROMdisk?
Yes, I can copy from MM having ROMdisk. And IFAIK, others users too.
this is weird... I'll get myself a romdisk (for a little while) again and see if it works (don't expect so) and film it... Hold on
Oh wait... Before I go put the tripod up... This is the ROMDISK which refuses me to copy anything anywhere in multimente...
I wonder what's the problem here...
Will check your romdisk now and see what happens...
Weird... Now it works... Did my romdisk allow you to copy in mm?
