Does anyone have the manual to this model for the RGB DIN pinout? I have a SCART cable that doesn't display properly and I want to confirm the DIN pinout.

It's mostly correct.

Check RGB - SCART cable section in the MSX hardware FAQ for a complete description.

I've also got an HB-F1XDJ and I'm pretty sure my SCART cable doesn't have pins 3 or 5 wired up. All you really need are the RGB pins, ground, audio and composite sync.

That usually doesn't work if you use a TV set, only with RGB monitors.

You need to connect the 5V line to the SCART blanking pin through a resistor of around 100..200 Ohm. That's needed for most TV sets.

Isn't that just for autoswitching though? Plus, I know the OP (he actually sold me my copy of Nemesis 3!) and I believe he uses an RGB monitor so the autoswitching stuff isn't necessary.

On most TV sets I've seen there's no way to force the RGB and they tend to default to composite. It won't hurt with RGB monitors, either, if you use the same tube for other machines as well.

I have also the Sony HB-F1XDJ and a good friend build a cable for me, from the http://www.faq.msxnet.org/connector.html
The cable works perfect on my Samsung 32' LCD TV. When turn on my MSX, the TV autoswitching to MSX screen.
