Overall, I Never got problem with all cartridges I've made...
The one GDX had problem was not produced by Repro-Factory, this perhaps the explanation

Indeed the case is conductive, interesting! However, there’s 1mm of space between the edge of the case and where the contacts begin, so there is no problem. Nevertheless I took the same precaution as valkyre, you can do so without damaging the label.

No problem for Ericb59 because the PCB solder mask of Tutankham prevents the short-circuit. The pins are not long.

I warned here because I've had this problem with another PCB. Two welds touched sometime the casing. A Korean has put adhesive tape in Luxury Box 8 to fix this problem.
