RAM ordered, it takes about 5-10 days to get here from the Netherlands patience, patience... Once it's up and running, I'll be able to check if my RGB cable is wired correctly, for now I'm letting the machine take a much deserved rest.
The mini board looks a bit like a battlefield, I'll clean it up as much as I can but won't touch the soldering job as it works as is. If one day I find spare, I'll replace it.
As a hint, once you clean the crud that leaked from the SMD capacitors on the analog board (the module board you're calling "mini board" does analog audio and video processing for the output connection) you can neutralize the crud effect by soaking it in water mixed with winegar for a couple minutes (5 minutes maybe is alright). Then you can wash away with tap water and neutral soap. After that dry it with a hair drier. I suggest the same treatment on the main board. Just make sure it doesn't have stickers in it. This treatment would damage things like speakers or sound transducers. If you don't want to damage any stickers or parts that are weak against liquids, you can forget the wash part.
The idea is mostly stop the fluid which leaked from the capacitors (it is caustic) by applying some weak acidic substance on it.
