There was a typo in the Video Upscalers category name so I tried to rename it. Apparently you can’t simply move categories, and the old category is difficult to get rid of (and adding a redirect makes it show up as a subcategory). Can a wiki admin delete this empty category?
Edit: Never mind, I managed to make the redirect work without having it show up as a subcategory, by adding a : prefix to the link. It’s fine now.
About Video Upscalers: why not use the 'Video' category in stead of 'Other Hardware'????
I hesitated between the two. You can move it if you prefer.
OK ... I've done the same for the category 'Monitors', it's now a 'Video' sub-category.
If an RGB cable works on a Panasonic FS-A1FX and WX it will absolutely work on a WSX as well. Only if you want to use a datarecorder you will need a different RGB cable.
The confusion probably comes from BASIC for the Network which was originally intended only for RS-232C then used by some modems with extra functions?
Most, let’s call them all-in-one, MSX modems would still have an RS232 compatible UART. It may have been combined in a single chip or it may have been separate. The I/O may be using standard methods (ports I believe) or non standard.(different ports or memory mapped). They also may or may not have the MSX RS232 software (with _COMINI).
About HX-20/HX-21:
* Only the Japanese machines are prepared to receive the optional RS-232C interface (see back of the machines) that was sold as a kit: Toshiba HX-R701.... that's why I indicate the option in the tables
* The RS-232C BASIC is on the ROMs of these machines (not the case for the non-Japanese versions), not on the interface
* The addition of the interface 'activates' the RS-232C BASIC when the switch is set on the ON position
I didn't know the kit existed but the previous descriptions were not correct. There is no module for this, and Toshiba's ADs do say that the HX-21 and HX-22 are an HX-20 with a extra options (RGB or RGB + RS-232C).

Software is not intergrated but the hardware is almost the same. All can receive the optional RS-232C.

I know. I don't see what it would be for otherwise.

Only for the RS-232C BASIC part, it was not correct.
And about the word 'module', I think it was used by Rderooy, but I agree it can be confused with Yamaha module. So the word 'interface' is better here.
About the very rare HX-10SA, take a look at the pictures here:

I think it does not have a printer port, just like the HX-10S.
Can someone confirm it?
