Then you can check this link: https://github.com/openMSX/openMSX/blob/master/share/unicode... at the bottom it shows the characters as I wanted to paste above.

Also via these charts you can see all info about these characters for legacy computing, including a rendering and also the character itself, if you click on one: https://www.kreativekorp.com/charset/unicode/block/1FB00/

Let's see if the HTML entity works: 🮘
Edit: ah, it does :) But I'm not going to manually paste the all here. Just look at that webpage and you can quickly see whether it renders on your system.

It looks like the HTML entity works, but shows a box with a codepoint for me (as is usual for characters not in the font). Same for all the characters at the bottom of your link.

I’m not surprised, these characters are pretty new additions to Unicode and it takes time for them to be rolled out into the operating system’s fonts. Not to mention if you’re on an older mobile phone whose OS doesn’t get major updates anymore. Additionally, I can imagine that they receive less priority over say, fancy new emojis. But I can also imagine that priorities could be different for an OS powered in large part by enthusiasts. Anyway, give it a few years and they’ll probably work for most people.

Well, I guess my system is more up-to-date than yours then Smile (Debian GNU/Linux, testing variant.)

This is how the bottom of that website renders for me:

Now you're just bragging, Manuel. Wink But what a nice-looking font. I wonder if Windows could display those characters if I had the same updated font.

@gdx, is it possible to put 6 small boxes inside a box where the characters are in now? That way the characters will be lined up better than they are now…

It's LIberation Mono. I guess you can download it here.

By forcing monospaced font the iPhone no longer changes the heart and spade etc. into emoji’s, also aligning seems to be better. Maybe the nbsp markups should be replaced by the empty space that you (or someone else) used in JIS? I removed that now to make it more uniform and changed it to nbsp but alignment seems a bit of sometimes…

I had forgotten that the images cannot be placed where we want. I had found a trick that worked with the old layout but no more now.

It's possible. It's more complex to manage but it's probably the best solution to use pictures.

Currently it does not look very nice, no matter what we try. It’s not like it’s easy to fill the table now either, surely it would not improve editing but well once everything is in the tables we just need to add machine confirmation and some exceptions.

Thanks. They are indeed nice. Unfortunately I'm not sure Windows can use glyphs numbered above 0xffff. The browsers seem to ignore them, and the Character Map app also doesn't go above 0xffff. No biggie, though. Just wanted to report.
