Greetings from Brazil,

My name is Leandro Correia, and I am currently creating a remake of the Casio game Yami no Ryu Ou - Hades no Monshou (it's a Knightmare clone made by Casio).

Looks good, although the shadow seems to flicker.

Seems alot of MSX games are being remade. New section for msx.org?

Yup, remake icon has been on the todo list for quite a while now, separate news section coming up. Probably only in the news, not in the forum sections though...

You are wrong, Henk. Shadow does not "seem to flicker."

It really flickers!

flickering is used on computers, consoles and arcade machines that do not have alpha transparency to create the illusion of shadow. Due to the slight afterglow of TV and Arcade monitors, this actually looked pretty nice. But modern VGA monitors have very little afterglow, so it seems to flicker more.
That's the problem with modern VGA monitors, they're designed for hi-res and hi-framerate, they just don't work very well with graphics and techniques aimed at computer RGB monitors or TVs.
