Hi guys,

My non boxed cartridges are getting dusty on the shelf. I would like to know what methods do you use to protect them... self-made boxes? It will be breat if you post a picture; I'm thinking of building a box myself. Any other ideas?
Thanks!

I once made a plastic box for my ObsoNet card with an old Cassette box.
You can see it here:

It was quite easy, but the cartridge has to fit the box! If it's bigger, no luck! :)

benedick: most cartridges are the size of old compact cassettes. So use cassette containers! Smile

You can also make your own boxes, there are boxlayouts available for msx cartridges

Hmmm I'm pretty sure benedict was talking about loose carts, without paper or carton boxes and not the cartridge plastic case itself.

The cartridge shop has a very interesting carton box made of one piece of paper. You can buy a game from them, dismantle the box and make your own boxes following the same layout.

Wow Gakubuchi, that self made cartridge looks awesome! But what I really meant was loose carts without original carton boxes.
Thanks for all the ideas; I'll try cassette containers as Manuel suggested.

I already made new boxes with that layout, works fine, on msxarchive you can download the covers of most known games, or make your own. Handy if your old boxes are eaten up by time/aging. Face

Thanks Wolverine_nl; I've just checked out passion msx webpage and, as you said, I've found the covers already prepared. They look very nice, I'll print one; I need to see how it looks like on the shelf Wink  thanks.
