I like very much Space Gun by Taito: http://youtu.be/n4duwKmIGCk
Is it possible on MSX with ARTRAG's engine?
Movements are only forward, backward, left and right, so I think we could have a working game very quickly (mainly adding a shooting system).

It was also available for Master System, so maybe this could be the base for an MSX2, 2+ or TR version!

Nice, but I was oriented toward something simpler, anyway you do not need a raycaster for this game (e.g. the SMS version uses just tricks)

Hi 2 all, yes it could me made with a simpler algorithm, but 3d raycasting is ready made, worth a try! Smile

I was oriented toward something simpler:
- random generated levels,
- the player is a robot consuming energy when moving,
- energy pods to be collected in the level by the player to stay active,
- other enemy robots are hunting the pods for themselve (the AI can guide enemies toward energy pods, balancing distance and residual energy of the unit),
- hunting robots who can kill other robots to steal their energy, have to be avoided or used to block the enemies
