I looked Meteoric Shower. It has no sound because the direct accesses to the SN76489 in ROM. I also noticed that you have not changed the OUT (0FFh),A by OUT (099h),A. So I do it and replaced the I/O to the SN76489.
Now the game seems work fine with sound on Franky, Musical Memory Mapper or Playsoniq. I added this game in the COL4MMM.zip.
That's a good thing to hear. Thanks for testing it and telling me.
Just tested Meteoric Shower on Mission, sound doesn't work on that too. Might as well use Franky, MMM, or Playsoniq to run the sound. Don't forget about Tank Wars and Strike It! All three of those are Bit Corp. games as I said.
Yes, sound works only with one of these cartridges. I just changed the I/O port number.
I also noticed that you have not changed the OUT (0FFh),A by OUT (099h),A.
I also noticed that you have not changed the OUT (0FFh),A by a sound routine nor IN A,(0BFh) by IN A,(099h).
Hey, I'm just curious to know. A user named Perfect! on SMS Power! wanted to know if there would've been CV2SMS (mostly CV2SG) ports. They both use the Z80 just like the MSX. I once try to make a Mission emulator for the Master System (the 16kB version), but it wouldn't work. I needed to know if it would be possible to put the ColecoVision on the Master System, and also change mappers of the controller, like up is 1 and control up and down is 5 and control down. The pause button is going to pause the game.
This was a pretty surprising moment today. Basically, I went on the File Hunter archive and I've seen ColecoVision to MSX conversions. Once I've downloaded it, a folder with all my ColecoVision conversions were seen. Thanks, Arnaud De Clerk! :-) You can download them here or download the zip in this forum.
You're very welcome And thank YOU for making the conversions. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you ever have more files that can be added to my archive
Thanks for responding. I will have some more CV games soon, enjoy your day.
Arnaud, here's conversion pack #2 for all. If you really want, I can bring in my SG-1000 (including Franky, SG-1000 Loader for MSX belongs to GDX), or SG2MSX (SG2MSX belongs to Tiny Yarou), or as a real favor, I can try to port Pac-Man Collection (ColecoVision) to the MSX. You're very welcome. Link: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1ENr3CHu1cN21mbBzzbtY5aeZ0l...
Hi Taylor,
Thanks! I have updated the archive on my website so it includes all your files
As for other projects: You should just consider which brings YOU the most fun
And I will only be very happy if I am allowed to add it to my archive and to share it to the rest of the MSX Community
