Very strange then... as I said, it works fine here and it shows exactly the same.... Which MSX are you using? I'm using it on a turboR (GT).

I'm using the ROM image with sha1sum: c4a919f31d20008b5d6540aa5d2be59aa4cef5cf Arsene Lupin 3rd - Babiron no Ougon Densetsu (1988)(Toho)(JP).rom

My MSX is Panasonic FS-A1 (64k RAM). By now, I think I've tried all the versions from RomHunter and TOSEC. Roms invariably end up in black screen, disks either throw me to MSX Basic or get stuck on a blue screen.

Is there anything I should do to Carnivore to make it work with Sofa Run (I mean work with all the files, because in general it does run some games)? I seem to recall reading that in older SR versions you had to add/flash some file to C2? But in the latest readme (for SR 8.0) it doesn't say anything about that.

Does the game work if you flash it with the C2MAN program?

It does...and so at least I have learned how to add games to the C2 boot menu I need to sort it out with SR though. I don't care about this particular game but want to know why it's not working because surely there will be others which won't as well.

Perhaps you can try to contact Louthrax to ask him to help investigating it. You can also try to reproduce the problem on openMSX, that will certainly help to debug.
