Hideo Kojima keeps exploiting his Metal Gear concept on an ever growing basis. One of his latest additions is the Playstation Portable game Metal Gear Ac!d. It has a completely different gameplay system than regular Metal Gear games and utilizes strategic battle cards that focuses on deep tactical strategy with an entirely new Metal Gear storyline. Like Runemaster, it's a turn-based style of game.
An interesting feature of the game is the fact that it actually has some Snatcher related cards. Gillian Seed, Mika Slayton, Metal Gear MK-II, they all pass by and can be used to complete your missions. To us, it once again shows Hideo Kojima hasn't forgotten the Snatcher concept, it is still in his mind and even though these references are small, it sparks our deepest wishes for a new Snatcher game in the future.
