Yep, the program works fine (I tried a Yamaha CX5M in openMSX), but what is the purpose exactly of it?

I think it lets you play like Jean-Michel Jarre (or almost !!!) on the music keyboard.

To enjoy that, you need to combine the emulator (blueMSX or openMSX) with these tools (for Windows) :

MIDI Yoke : http://www.midiox.com/myoke.htm

Virtual MIDI Keyboard : http://www.granucon.com/SoftwarePages/Vmk.aspx

More my dad's thing but I think you can create and then import voices into the Yamaha sfg software

What it was telling me to use was not working. Tried that out this morning and it worked no problems. My dad is stoked as his original tape was ruined and his backup was wearing thin. Thanks mars2000you!
