MSX Gids PDFs (Dutch mag)

I'm sorry some of the pages come out askew. It has to do with the process;
The scanner software auto sorts the pages, but I don't have influence on it, so everything has to come out of the feeder correctly in one run... that doesn't always happen so in general I have to scan each mag. about 3 times before it comes out correctly.

Maybe after I'm done scanning the magazines (by the way, I only have about 10 magazines myself or so, not nearly the complete collection) I'll do another run where I scan them as JPEGs, those can be cleaned up although it's more work to turn ~50 separate images into a good looking PDF compared to what I do now (let the scanner do all the work).

Also, once I run out of mags I guess I'll have to try to hunt more of them down. It would be nice to scan Software Gids as well but I don't have any of those.

@AxelF I used those tools a lot too, and back in the day I also used SCC's without a switch (you'd hear a static noise when inserting them in slot 2 with the machine on).

This one was in pretty bad shape, coffee-stained and all.

...and now I'm all out of MSX Gids, nothing more to scan for now.

i checked my MSX Gids collection and they are in very bad shape, torn and yellowed.
I hope other duch users can check their MSX Gids collection and maybe donate them for scanning...

P.S.
in what DPI pitch did you scan them 1200 dpi ?

200dpi.

The highest setting for the feeder is 300dpi but I thought the PDF's were already large enough this way. They're twice the size on 300dpi.

If I'm gonna scan them again it will be images, entire scan area, 300dpi but that takes some work to convert into a document afterwards, especially if we're going to clean up things (straighten pages, minor image adjustments such as scratch removal, etc.).

MSX Gids 14 was incidentally the only one I sent something to; the pokes for Zanac and an ad for swapping software I forgot the phone number of the house I grew up in but there it is! Thanks for that.
