Hi Alexey,
I was looking for a fun project and this looks like one, but i have a few questions i hope You can answer
1. I don't see any drillholes in the gerber files when i upload them to PCB Way gerber file viewer. I want to put most, if not all the IC's into sockets, so it's good to know if there are drillholes
2. I can't seem to find the 27C512AL eprom anywhere. Do You know where i can find them online? Checked Alieexpress, but can't find them
3. A question for other fans of this project: Did anyone test this in a Philips 8235/20?
Thanks in advance for the answers
Kind regards,
Dennis
1. Looks like certain Gerber viewers may interpret these files incorrectly. Try to upload the archive with Gerber files to another viewer, for example on http://www.jlcpcb.com website and see if the holes are in place. I didn't change the board since a long time
2. Try this: https://www.aliexpress.com/wholesale?catId=0&initiative_id=S...
3. This board was created for Yamaha computers, I heard that some people managed to put it inside 8250/8280 computers, but I haven't seen any photos. Check that the board fits into your case above z80 first
Hi Alexey,
That is a very fast reply Thank You for that.
Strange that i couldn't find the eprom on Aliexpress, but your link helps for sure! I'll check JCLPCB tommorow
I'm going to build this for sure and i'll let You know if it fits and if not, how i fixed it
Thank You very much for the info!
Kind regards,
Dennis
Another problem could be finding a free slot for FMPAC ROM. You will need to connect 2 additional signals (CS1 and SLTSEL) to locate the ROM in a free slot at address 0x4000.
If you just need FMPAC for gaming, get a Carnivore2 or a dedicated FMPAC cartridge.
It seems it is not just that he needs an FM-PAC, he is also interested in having something (new) to do
Indeed it's both I want to have a new project and play FM-PAC games
Have all my retro computers fixed, so time for something new.
I've never ordered boards with a gerber file, and want to experience that.
This looks like a fun project
I'm looking for a FM/F4 board, because I've got a NMS8245 that I want to upgrade.

My soldering skills are the reason, that's not an option. But thanks for the suggestion.
