You're right... Vampire Killer and Castlevania are quite different games.
BTW...that's how Castlevania will look in 2016 (in MSX2)

Thoroughly impressed by the graphics improvements... Thoroughly unimpressed by improvements in gameplay. Guessing the '80s megaROM is as good as remake in Unreal engine.

The 2.5D version look graphically impressive, but... that Imanok+Guillian Castlevania on MSX2 project looks promising! Keep us updated
