Getting to the point as nice as possible:
Market for Yamaha YIS805/128R2 is former USSR; Yamaha YIS805/128 also YIS805/256 -- is Japan.
Difference in these models is a keyboard layout and network module[which is available in YIS805R; not sure about Japanese YIS805].
I've seen brand new Japanese YIS805/256 with QWERTY keyboard layout which was sold for $650 (it was 4 years ago at Yahoo Japan) and I deeply regret that I missed this auction. I keep watching this model because of keyboard layout.
However I know that both models are pretty rare, true price is what closes auction.
Saying that I would like to add that connection to reality is very personal matter for anyone.
Also, one drop of nicotine kills the horse, but hamster will explode from this dose; hence quit smoking and be healthy.

Mostly yes but I have seen non-USSR people buy it (and then sell) for its network module: https://www.msx.org/forum/msx-talk/trading-and-collecting/eb...

And 20 years ago they were thrown out for free.
Also that’s likely the Japanese model (given the presence of an SFG-05), not the Russian model.
