Hopefully when we leave the EU we can have the UK voltage at 240v again. Then I won't need to wait as long for my kettle to boil! The 220v allows a larger variation than the original UK 240v, to be honest I have noticed no differences, having lived through it!
In the 1980's UK voltage was 240v, and all UK MSX's where 220v-240v. No issues with the lower voltage.

Did you check your voltage with a multi-meter? It may still be 240V

You're probably lucky because it depends on several parameters (your usage, electric line, 2+ and turbo R are sturdy, etc).
