I suppose the PC keyboard layout is the "inverted T". What will the HitBit layout look like?
There is no such HitBit layout. The MSXVR team has said that at a later stage they may offer the possibility to choose between standard cursor keys and MSX alike big, oversized cursor keys (like those in Sony's HitBit range of MSX computers).
+1 for MSX-style cursor keys. But speaking about keys: what about the keyboard layout (Spanish, Japanese, international...)? Will we be able to choose it?
I can live without the Ñ key but indeed it would be nice if we could also choose the keyboard layout.
I am sure that Japanese and Korean MSXVR buyers would really appreciate rōmaji and dubeolsik keyboards.

Alberto said in CONEXIÓN MSX podcast the key board will be Ñ key.

But this is cuatomizable by the user
Honestly all this chatter about the keyboard makes me feel a bit anxious. The situation is not getting clearer. I have preordered and paid. So my machine is going to be made. I have only selected a color so far, no switch type, no layout. It was not in the questionnaire I got. Will I be asked at a later point?
About the bigger cursor keys. What does it mean “the may be offered at a later stage”. Is that still for this (first and only) batch. Or is it for later but doubtful batches? Or as in upgrade (with a new top case)?
Not clear what all this means...
@sdsnatcher73 What Alberto explained in the most recent interview is that you will be asked via email before your machine is made.
Looking forward, just preordered
Maybe it's not defined in the standard, but I won't consider a machine MSX compliant if it doesn't have oversized cursor keys.
I looked at the keyboard on a too litle screen. There is no dead key nor accent key.
About colors, Sanyo PHC-23J (B) is also nice. (I know I dream. It's not easy to do and it's too late anyway)
