Will be more than happy if there is software supporting dual screen configuration/desktop extension and there's a demand for it. Let me check with SymbOS team...

Nice to have second VDP with input on the cartridge for superimpose so games can support two planes with different scrolling, or so. Only problem is that it's not 90-s and there wouldn't be much games supporting it. But at other side, game could be designed that way that it will play on only one VDP nicely when second one just adds extra prettiness with that second plane. If used without superimposing, then just for dual screen configuration. Does adding of superimpose come with a big complication?
Eugeny, NICE JOB!
Very nice! I can use my monitor then
What will it cost? And will it be pre-assembled?
Why to use cache sram developed circa 1992 instead of dram from 1980? This VDP was not supposed to use it. Also why such complexity and smd components, all of this would have much cooler look with old retro style components.
I had a friend that used to say something like: "We cannot discuss matters of taste... But bad taste? Let's discuss it!"
On my side, I like the new design a lot better.

@Eugeny
Just curious: are most GR8BIT customers in education business (like universities)?
Or individuals, enjoying building a cool project themselves or with their families?
Do you supply most kits pre-soldered or not?
Great work Eugeny!
It would be handy to have the svideo out here in the US when I take my machine to show off!
How do you plan to make this available?
Gr8bit Knowledge base + Gerbers? Or can we order a pcb? or kit?
You didn't show the backside of the original Gr8Bit video board with all the air-wires required to patch in the latches. Following the knowledge base to patch that up was an awesome experience, but having it all cleaned up in the new board will be a nice plus! (I'm always a little extra afraid to handle the original card)
