Hi Laurent, I have Sanyo PHC-23J(B) for €160, Sony HB-T7 for €180, Mitsubishi ML-G10 for €180, Panasonic FS-A1 for €160, Panasonic FS-A1F with Gotek from €300. My e-mail is on my profile page...
Well I disagree, Japanese machines are much better for playing games. Sure you’ll need a transformer but the machine will run the games at their intended display frequency which impacts gameplay and music quite a bit.
Well, it's for Laurent to decide, he hasn't shared why he is looking for this msx2. I agree there are many considerations when it comes to choosing a machine. However (and that's how I read his question), if you just want to play around a bit or want it to relive good memories then go for the easy solution. It also saves cost of a power convertor, which you can spend on a flash cartridge.
That said, if you've got serious plans with the machine and you're not on a budget, yeah, go for it.
