I've made some progress regarding this extension. It is now available in two flavors: as BASIC commands or through DEFUSR calls. This makes it usable with kun basic or compilers. There is demo code that uses kun basic for main program loop.
Currently there is no automatic mechanism for transforming a program made with basic commands into defusr calls.
I might investigate some convertor or even full compiler options. For more info visit my github page.
