MSX emu on DS (Lite)?

Bought my wife a DS Lite for "sinterklaas".
Of course, as an MSX geek, I am looking for an emulator.
Google doesn't really show many, and most links are old.

Any idea what the status here is and what the options are?

You have FMSX DS and Penko for the NDS.

And you will need a flashcard to run the emulator:
