Effect

Selects the screen refresh rate (VDP frequency).

Syntax

CALL HZ [<VdpFrequency>]

Parameters

<VdpFrequency> needs to be 50 or 60.

Without any parameter, CALL HZ works as a toggle between both options for the VDP frequency.

With 50, the emulated MSX1/MSX2 computer will have the VDP frequency of an European, Russian or Arabic machine.

With 60, the emulated MSX1/MSX2 computer will have the VDP frequency of a Japanese, Korean or Brazilian machine.
